Edgy fashion startup I ♥ Tyler Madison was founded by two sisters and named after their pet dogs, Tyler and Madison. Just starting to get some press, the company was mostly known in it’s home town Montreal and on the East Coast. We developed an online brand identity with website and social program that helped them to reach a global market competing with established brands. The I ♥ Tyler Madison, mobile-friendly storefront was custom built on the most widely used platform on the internet. This gave it the stability and support to last. Plus, it was easily backed up and kept on local storage instead of being locked into a proprietary system from which you could not move. The site was fully integrated into their ERP system so that styles and quantities in stock, shipping and tracking information along with all accounting data were shared across platforms to make management easier. This fully integrated ecommerce application provides everything a customer needs to easily find and make a purchase, and has an intuitive back-end dashboard for the client to manage inventory and track detailed analytics 24/7.
Bucking the trend of slick fashion photography and video to show the clothing, we kept a minimalist look and feel to present the individual pieces as simply as possible. From researching the taraget demogrphics, we found that this look and feel was aligned with their values and also separated the company from the highly produced commercial image of the competition.
